Josh Hallett’s new video for Welcome Skate Store, WELCOME 2: HELL premiered on Friday May 27th to a packed out audience at Brudenell Social Club.
A crowd of 300+ people from with faces from shops and scenes including Liverpool, Manchester, Wakefield, Nottingham and further afield joined countless Leeds heads for the second full-length Welcome video since the shop’s debut with Paul (2017) and the first since Josh’s shorter project, “JUST FILM” (2018).
Full parts from Will Sheerin, Zeta Rush, Jack Hackleton, Albie Edmonds, Sam ‘Blinky’ Hutchinson and Dale Starkie are laced with clips from a vast amount of other riders, shop workers, homies and lurkers.
Highlights (amongst many) include an opener from Welcome bossman, Tom Brown who skates as gracefully as his t-shirt collection is historic; Shez’s nollie flip-based finesse and newfound position as the king of Millennium Square and Dale going the distance from the Henry Moore ride-on to Art Gallery 9 in more ways than one.
